Westchester County Board of Health
The 13 members of the Board of Health are nominated by the Board of Legislators. The board includes one representative from each of the six cities – new Rochelle, Mount Vernon, Peekskill , Rye, White Plains and Yonkers ; 3 physician members, 3 at-large members and one county legislator. Members serve 5-year unpaid terms, but the term of the Board of Legislators member does not expire.
