NY State Executive Orders Requiring Face Coverings in Public
NYS has issued two Executive Orders Requiring Face Coverings in Public During the COVID-19 Outbreak:
- Public and private employees must wear masks or cloth face coverings when interacting with the public.
- All people in New York, two years of age and older who are medically able to tolerate it, must wear a mask or a face covering when out in public and in situations where social distancing cannot be maintained, such as on public transportation.
